Grab a seat under the storytelling tree! The Wood Memorial Library & Museum invites children ages 3–6 to a free weekly storytime series led by storyteller Krysha Brooks.

Join us for stories that spark imagination, curiosity, and a love of storytelling. Older and younger siblings are welcome.

Cheer on the runners of the Eversource Hartford Marathon and Marathon Relay from our front lawn!

We are about a mile south of the Main Street turnaround, so you will see the runners pass by twice.

Enjoy traditional Irish Step dancing by children and of all ages while you enjoy cider and donuts.

Bring a chair and join us on the lawn!
