Oral History Project

Since the mid-1970s, The Wood has been preserving the voices of South Windsor through oral histories and now cares for a collection of more than 100 interviews with community members.

As the country approaches its 250th anniversary, we will begin recording new voices to add to this living archive.

Volunteer for the Oral History Project!

We are always looking for new interviewers and new subjects for our oral history project.

Interviews can be recorded in text transcripts, audio, and/or video.
