A fabric collage of a house with a pink and gray roof, a red door, white window frames, and a front staircase. Next to the house is a tree with green leaves and a brown trunk. There are bushes and decorative objects in front of the house, set against a sky background with clouds and birds.

Sadd Memorial Library

By by Miss Judy Wills

The Sadd Memorial Library was erected in 1905 as a memorial to the Sadd family.  The building was given by Henry W. Sadd to the Town of South Windsor. The library was dedicated in 1906. After 65 years of use, the library outgrew the building.  In 1971, the library was moved to larger quarters and the building was sold by the Town and converted to commercial offices.
